OK, so this review is based on ownership for one week. TV was VERY easy to set up and to hook up to our wireless G network (there is NO benefit from having a wireless N network), it is all about the speed of your internet and has nothing to do with the speed of your network since the internet speed will be the bottleneck, DSL will probably be to slow, the internet app VUDU said I should download movies in 1080P. The Bluetooth remote control that came with the TV controls our cable box (Comcast - Motorola), the remote is AMAZING!!! Net flick looks AMAZING!!! The other internet features are pretty good. I HOPE that the hulu deal that Vizio has done will be playable with this TV. The picture looks awesome!!! BUT there is better technology out there and local dimming is supposed to give you a better picture but it is more expensive. While watching the Home Network (house hunters) I did notice some blue bleeding from the top left corner, I am not sure if it was filmed that way or was the fault of the TV because I did not notice this blue bleeding any other time. Blacks look great, but I don't have twenty TV's next to mine to point out that another TV has better blacks, this TV has a 1:1,000,000 contrast ratio and I am very happy with the picture. I have not played much with the picture options, so the settings that come with the TV are pretty GREAT. I am also happy with the sound; yes there is no bass... its TV speakers.

OK, the TV looks Amazing in standard definition (I was very surprised because usually standard def does not look good with these new 1080P TV's) and High definition. I only watched a preview in 1080P through the internet with VUDU (did not want to spend the $$$ to watch more) and the TV looked amazing. I do not have a blue ray player since I don't like to spend $$$ and I just signed up for Netflix, so I did not even watch a DVD to experiment with. I did not try over the air HDTV, I live in NH where we only get 4 channels and two of them SUCK...lol.

OK, now for the problems. While playing around with the remote, I some how got the TV to freeze within the first 5 hours of ownership. Had to call Vizio (was upgraded to a level three tec), they told me how to reset the firmware by pressing down on the power button on the TV for 30 seconds, but first unplug all cables (this took about 45 minutes). Since then the TV has worked flawless. I thought that there would be a feature that would UPGRADE the firmware... you know... since it is able to hook up to the internet, but I could not find it :(... don't know if this is good or bad. The TV has three USB plugs that do not work, it is suppose to work later on when Vizio fixes their firmware (even though I don't see how it is possible to upgrade it)... so I have read online... I am not to worried, but it would be a nice feature to be able to plug in a usb thumb drive and watch an avi file... personally I would much rather have Hulu going and CANCEL my cable service (this is a dream of mine...lol)

The tv looks ok, but works horrible. The control on the tv and remote completely quit working at least once a day. You cant even turn off the tv by using the power button that is actually on the tv. The only way you can turn it off when you does this is to unplug it. The wireless capability doesnt work. Most of the vizio apps dont work at all, work improperly or are too difficult to use. Dont waste your money go, with a brand with a solid reputation for quality.

This tv does everything they say and more. Having netflix built in is awesome. 4 hdmi's is plenty and the 120hz gives very smooth motion on blu rays and sports!!! I am loving this tv right now and I am sure you will too!!

When you are in the market for a new television, resolution should be one of factors you should consider. If you have the money, perhaps you should consider buying an LCD 1080p HDTV.

What is the big deal about an LCD 1080p HDTV? Well for starters, that is about 1,920x1,080 pixels which many consider as the Holy Grail of HDTV resolution. This is because it is the best that television companies have been able to come up with which is an improvement from the 720p.

The 1080p is an improvement from the 1080i. The big difference is that images are no longer in an interlaced format but rather sequentially in a single pass making it clearer for people to see the images on the screen.

Keep in mind that when you do buy an LCD 1080p HDTV, its price will be much higher than an EDTV or enhanced definition TV screen because it costs more to make. But does it really make a difference? A lot of experts in the industry say no.

This is because unless you are in the business of video editing or extreme graphic use, such features are not needed when you turn on the television to watch your favorite show or movie. Second, people in Hollywood have no intentions of to produce shows using the 1080p format.

But then again, there is hope because in the battle between high definition and blu ray, the second one is sometimes the format being used when a movie is released in DVD. For this to work, you need to buy an HD DVD player since the data is encoded in 1080p.

Such information will not make you jump for joy because most broadcasts are still done using the 1080i and 720p format and there are no plans to switch to 1080p due to bandwidth issues.

Will there come a time that this will happen if such issues are resolved? Probably not because it is not worth the time or the money. An independent test showed that they did not see any difference when they watched a show using this or the previous format so why even bother.

So why make it in the first place? Simply because there is competition between plasma and LCD televisions. Manufactures think that better pixel quality equals more sales but it is just one selling point and not the big picture when the consumer decides to go out and buy a new television.

In the end, what we are trying to say is that you are better off with a television either a plasma or an LCD that is 720p. If you want to intensify your viewing pleasure, use the extra dollars you save to buy a better sound system.

But if you are not watching a movie, you will need a high definition signal through an antenna, cable or satellite because nothing will appear on screen without it. You should also get the proper accessories like the box and a satellite dish to get clear signals from the network.

The LCD 1080p HDTV is only good if you plan to use it for work. Otherwise, this is something you should forget because even if you play video games with it like Xbox 360 or Playstation 3, this is made in the 720p format so there is no point even if you can make adjustments in the user settings.

If you have read any of the other reviews you probably have noticed a general theme - the Samsung C8000 has a picture that is unmatched. I know that sounds like hyperbole, but in this case it really is the truth. prior to purchasing I had spent about 6 months going to box stores and staring at various televisions. Wow. In all of my travels to box stores I never came across a picture that was as good as the C8000. Nothing is even close. A few of my notes - I have never used the television in 3D, and I doubt if I will until sometime next year. To be honest the 3D accessories are too expensive and the available content is too sparse. Many would agree that Samsung produces some of the best consumer LCD TVs in the market. Here is a quick review of a model from its Touch of Color series, the Samsung LN32B460 32-Inch 720p LCD TV. Like all other models in this series, it has a hint of dark read in its design. In this particular model, there is a faint shadow of dark red at the bottom frame of the TV. It also has a small hint of dark red on is rectangular stand. Whether the red is a favorable addition to the design is subject to personal taste. Personally, I kind of like it as it adds a little edginess to the LCD TVs design.

The Samsung LN32B460 32-Inch 720p LCD TV has a 50'000:1 contrast ratio, which is pretty good for a LCD TV. This high contrast ration enables the screen to produce sharper and more realistic pictures. It also has a 6ms response time that is a great improvement from older models. Many LCD TVs in the market does a pretty good job at playing movies but are not well suited for playing games. This model has a game mode that increases the speed of image processing to enhance your gaming experience.

I was able to pick this up at Costco at a lower price (0) than any other 46" 1080p/120hz set I'd shopped for save the Insignia at Best Buy. After several weeks with the set it is a joy to watch and at this price point I am very happy to do without the first generation, ethernet based internet connectivity found on more expensive sets, especially since those same services are available with wifi on mid priced blu ray players.

The other main give up with this set is that it uses 3:2 pull down technology for 1080p/24 fps input (i.e, blu-ray) instead of the Regza series' 5:5 pull down which promises smoother motion. In fact, when viewing the absolutely amazing-looking Blu-Ray of Troy, I did detect some jutter on slow distance panning scenes and slow moving close up scenes. It is just slightly annoying. Changing the Blu-Ray's display setting from 1080p/24fps to plain 1080p/60fps eliminated the jutter with a barely perceptible give up in overall picture quality, if any at all. Jutter is not an issue with regular broadcast TV via my DirecTV connection, and the 120 hz setting produces no blur at all on fast moving action scenes and sports. If I'd known about the jutter issue on blu-ray, I might have price shopped for the entry level Regza XV-645u model with 5:5 pulldown, but I did save about 0 dollars with this set.

This HDTV has a very flexible and intuitive picture adjustment capability, which enables you to experiment with color temperature, intensity, contrast, brightness and all the usual settings quickly and easily until you find what suits you and your room. The four pre-sets (standard, sports, video and movie) are limited but give you a place to start and adjust the picture to your liking from the easy to access menus. The colors are deep and true with my DirecTV 1080i feed, and the set looks great on a variety of color settings. The 'Smooth' video setting that enables the 120 HZ processing has produced no blur that I can see; motion on broadcast TV looks remarkably smooth. I adjusted my rating to 4 stars due to a couple of minor peeves in addition to the blu-ray jutter: the DynaLight backlight auto - adjust is a little slow and sometimes adjusts and re-adjusts during a scene; I might turn this feature off. I have also noticed that the color fades when viewed from about a 140-50 degree angle, not the 178 degrees advertised with most of these sets. With Costco's 90 day return and one year extension of the manufacturer's warranty, it was well worth it to get a great picture on a set that might have cost twice the money less than a year ago. If you're looking for a basic-featured set at great price, you won't be disappointed with this set, but the Regza series TV's have superior technology for 24 fps blu-ray at a slightly higher price point than this set.

we bought this TV at our local costco store and are very happy with it.

The first TV that we bought had a manufacturing defect and couldn't be powered on. We were extremely disappointed because the picture quality, color was probably very natural among the other TVs at store and didn't want to miss on this TV. So we thought of giving it a second try.

After getting the new TV as replacement, it has been very pleasing experience. Colors are just awesome. At times, I feel that audio level is average. It could have been better but i won't fret about it. I can always hook up an external audio device. The response time was stated as <8ms which I can't figure out watching many action movies. It has 3 HDMI inputs which is standard these days. Also you get, S-Video port and VGA input port, and it's very convenient.

All in all, it was a very good buy for us.

We found this television for a great price at Costco. We were attracted to it immediately by the full quality of its sound. For some reason most large LCD units have rotten sound- significantly worse than your old analog sets.

At home we use this in our large bedroom. It has great natural sound for basic TV watching. We also have it connected to a home 7.1 theater set up (Win 7 media computer, Optoma EP745 projector, Sony STR-DN1000 7.1 Receiver, Comcast Cable).

Additionally we're using it as a computer monitor, including watching streaming movies via Netflix and also avi/dvix files from hard drive. The monitor desktop looks great!--we use a VGA set-up for computer to TV (we're using the computer DVI for our projector, but I tried both and it looks even better with an HD DVI signal).

One of the other little surprises we discovered the other day-- our Sony receiver's "Bravia" function started connecting to Toshiba's corresponding "Regza-Link" feature. Essentially the TV and Receiver communicated to work out each other's basic settings when one is turned on (you still may have to tweak it is set-up a bit). So I suppose that means one (Regza or Bravia) is compatible with the other. I don't know which or if both are, but it works on ours.

The picture quality is also great. We have a 52" Samsung in our living room. The display-- brightness, contrast etc. is every bit as good as the Samsung which we love.

This is an awesome television choice.

I purchased this most EXCELLENT LED HDTV this past July, 2010, at a price almost 0 MORE than listed today and have not ONE single regret! I was first introduced to an LED 1080p "screen" with my new HP 17.3" AMD Dual-Core laptop w/BluRay player. The CLARITY, CRISPNESS and contrast ratio of the screen on my laptop was nothing shy of AMAZING and I knew, then, that the next (first) HDTV I was going to purchase was going to be an LED HDTV. At the time I purchased this Toshiba, the "bigbox" retailers had it priced anywhere from ,900.00 at a minimum to ,200.00 and more at the higher end. I purchased it NEW via AMAZON.COM for ,200.00 (keeping in mind that the USB Internet accessory continues to be RARE in LCD, LED, DLP's and other models and makes of HDTV's ... and to find that "option" AND have the USB Wireless accessory INCLUDED is even MORE RARE!)

So far, we love this television! We've only owned it for about 2 weeks, but the picture is phenomenal. We don't even have HDTV (yet), but the picture is wonderful even when viewed with a digital signal. We have watched a couple of blu-ray movies and the color and clarity is simply gorgeous. This TV has so many bells and whistles, it's unbelievable. You can watch YouTube, download movies, check out podcasts on Fox News, MSNBC, PBS programs, you can listen to Pandora radio....you name it. This TV has it all. So far, so good. If we find any negatives, I'll be sure to post them. In the meantime, we LOVE this set! A lot of bang for your buck.
